New Transcend V70 – rugged and shock-resistant USB drive

The brand new Transcend JetFlash V70 is now available from our site. There has been much talk about this drive, as it is one of the first affordable USB drives to include features such as shock-resistance (in fact, it is approved by the US Military!) and it is manufactured using an eco-friendly silicone material. Personally I am not sure what this means

The products look good, no doubt about that. I had the chance to use one of these recently, and they do feel quite sturdy and robust. I did not perform any drop tests on the V70 though – at least, not yet!
