As my existing Windows installation had slown to a crawl and was based on a 4 year old hard drive, I decided the time had come to jump into the SSD hard drive market to host my new installation, and I had done some research into MLC vs. SLC based SSD technology, enough to know that I didn't want the potential problems of an MLC based drive, which includes the OCZ Core :(

With options limited to SLC based drives, and needing enough space for Windows, a Virtual Memory Pagefile, Firefox, OpenOffice, favourite game etc, while also desiring speed and robustness, I decided that this drive was the right balance of cost and specification.

I have now reinstalled Windows onto this SSD and everything is a lot faster and snappier, no delays opening SSD hosted files, folders programs etc, and Windows boots up much faster as well. I even made a YouTube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7SkashSNls

Definately condier this drive if you intend to jump into the SSD game!
