32GB Integral Ultima Pro SDHC 45MB/sec CL10 UHS-1 High-Speed memory card by Integral

A memory card isa memory card but I was happy with the quick delivery as I needed product fast and that's what I got was a fast service.

My order came faster than expected and I am very happy with product.

I recently bought 10 of these cards and they are excellent quality for the price. I'm very happy with them.

It is one of the faster card I ever try, delivery took longer, but for eigth dollars it was worth the wait.

Review of Ultima Pro 16GB 45MB’s SDHC speed class 10 memory card.
I bought this memory card recently & decided to test its write speed.
Manufacturers usually only give read speeds & not write speeds but most photographers would want to know how fast any card can clear the camera’s buffer (write speed)

Tested on my Nikon D7000, & set with a reasonable shutter speed of 1/250s I wanted to see how it would compare to my other card a Sandisk 8GB 30MB’s SDHC.

With both cards I fired a 5 sec’ burst of shots and also noting the time in seconds how fast they could clear the buffer.
With the Ultima Pro I was able to get 14 shots in 5 seconds, but the important bit here is how fast the card can actually clear the camera buffer…..the Ultima Pro took 20 seconds to clear 14 RAW files from my D7000.

Time now to switch cards & insert the Sandisk 30MB’S & a lower speed class of 6, compared to 10 for the Ultima. With the Sandisk in the camera I again fired off a 5 second burst and got 17 shots (compared to 14 for the ultima)…the Sandisk cleared the buffer in just 10 seconds compared to 20s for the Ultima for just 14 shots.
When I calculated the file sizes it turns out that the Ultima Pro averaged 9MB’s per second & the Sandisk averaged 20MB’s per second…my suspicions confirmed ! ! !

Conclusion – there is nothing “Ultimate” about the Ultima Pro…..it’s just a basic average & disappointing SD card. Yes it serves its purpose as just that, but don’t expect it to perform well. Yes I do know that most people will not be using the camera for high speed photography so again this needs to be kept in mind.

Bottom line – if you want a 16GB card & you shoot single pictures & don’t shoot high speed, then given the good price of it, yes it’s worth it.
But if you are buying this card based on what the manufacturer claims….then don’t bother.
