8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Ripjaw in ASUS A88X-Pro

This RAM is on the ASUS list for my new A88X-Pro motherboard with AMD FM2+ processor, installed along with another 8GB sourced elsewhere (16GB total) I am very pleased with the performance of my new system, so far very stable and speedy.
MemoryC shipped very quickly arriving within a quarter of an hour of the other ordered days before from Germany.

An excellent 8GB kit with Lifetime Warranty from GSKILL.

Replaces an older 4GB kit (by GSKILL, purchased from MemoryC several years ago) on an ageing Phenom x4 system.

The extra RAM has noticeably boosted the performance of the machine.

As a bonus the modules should work perfectly should I build a faster/newer Intel based system i.e. Sandy/Ivy bridge, Haswell, Xeon

Excellent RAM

I purchased two sets of these to make 16GB and replace the 4GB RAM I already had (these 16GB were actually cheaper than the 4GB I bought 2 years ago). 16GB is probably more RAM than I'll ever need, but it makes multitasking so much easier as I used to regularly max out the 4GB.
The extra large heatsinks on these were slightly awkward on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 fan I had installed, but thankfully I was able to move the fan up slightly to make everything fit. I would recommend getting the lower profile Ares RAM if you do have a large aftermarket cooler, thankfully I was able to get mine to fit.
The old RAM I had was CL7, but so far I have not noticed any reduction in performance with these CL9 modules. I would definitely recommend these.

This memory kit is perfect for both 1156 and 1155,really stable at stock clocks
timings and voltages. Also was very stable when overclocked was able to go quite a bit fast on lynnfield and sandy bridge platforms. over all great buy would defiently recommend for 1156 boards as other memory providers have not been too stable on that platform.

Rock Steady

System : Windows 7 x64 Pro, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T AM3, Motherboard Asus M5A99X Evo AM3 AMD 990X Chipset.

So far this ram had been rock steady at it's default 1600 Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.5v settings. Initially I used a command rate of 2T, but this ram happily operates at a command rate of 1T @ the above settings, this increases the performance a bit. So far I am very impressed with this ram, and I haven't even tried overclocking it yet, but to be honest I probably won't.

I have had much success with not only with overclocking my Phenom II, but overclocking the CPU's Northbridge memory controller (2000 default > 2600). This means that the memory bandwidth has increased substantially, benchmarks have proven this, and this is the reason that I don't feel the need to attempt to overclock this ram at the moment. The ram performed admirably during the Northbridge overclock, with no instability.

Anyway, this is excellent ram at a good and fair price. Recommended.

Well worth the money
June 29th 2011
Brought some of these a few weeks ago, and fitted them to my gigabyte board, did a manual mulitply to 8x and they run at 1600 mhz, very reliable and give rock solid performance with my 1075 hex core runnning at 3.5 ghz on its own, Also brought my WEI up to a respectable 7.6. And as usually amazingly quick delivery from Memoryc, thanks guys.
